About
Suzanne Lerner
I had the good fortune to have Dr. Richard Schwartz, the Founder of IFS (Internal Family Therapy) as my direct 1:1 Supervisor for my year-long Clinical Internship. Thus, I’ve been practicing IFS (Parts Dialogue) for over 20 years. I offer an Advanced, Somatic Based IFS Approach, that integrates Energy Psychology (EFT) Expressive Arts, and some of the latest Neurobiological Understandings of how long-lasting change best occurs.
People working with me say that they find themselves in a warm, safe and authentic space, where they can develop their strengths and work more skillfully with their challenges. Utilizing Courage, Confidence, Connection, Calm, Clarity, Creativity & Compassion, “All Parts Are Welcome Here!”
I teach internationally on such topics as IFS, EFT, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Expressive Arts Therapy and have published over 20 articles on, trauma, trance and transformation.

I regularly offer
"Playful Art with A Heart"
IFS Groups. Research has shown that the"autobiographical stories"of our Parts are stored predominantly in our Right Hemisphere, which tends to use Image, Sensation & Metaphor rather than words.
Thus using "Spontaneous Art" with your Non-dominant Hand is a Potent Way to make contact and communicate with your various Inner Parts in enjoyable Ways. Most People find These Groups Very Healing & Meaningful. It's also a Great Way to Be With Others Who Are On Their Own Creative Conscious Journeys!
Please feel free to contact me to get on a Wait list for my next "Playful Art With a Heart" IFS Parts Online Group.

Intensives are where we work together over 3 or 4 days to help make a transformation in a specific area of your life. The research into "Memory Reconsolidation" shows that there is a 4-5 hour window, after skillfully accessing a Traumatic Memory, where the Memory is more open to being "re-written." During that "Window of Opportunity" various aspects of the Trauma, Challenging Behaviors or "Core Assumptions" can often be brought to the Light and be re-written. These new, updated learnings then become part of the implicit memory system...what we automatically "know" for better or for worse, about ourselves and the World.
Please contact me to see if this might be the next helpful step on your Healing Journey!
